Tunganath is one amonf the five kedars ( Kedarnath, Madamaheshwar, Tunganath, Kalpeshwar and Rudranath) and considered to be the highest. the nearest road head is Chopta from where it is around 3km trek accross beautiful meadows and rhododendron forest.
